Web Directions Speakers in the press — Adrian Holovaty

One of my favourite ever speakers at Web Directions, and favourite web folks ever, is the incredibly talented diversely interested (one of the first google maps mashups (pre api), Django founder, his Firefox extensions were the inspiration for Greasemonkey, and he is a very talented jazz guitarist) Adrian Holovaty. Recently his new venture, Everyblock (think Chicago crime (now part of Everyblock) for everything) launched. If you’d like to know more about it, here’s an excellent interview with Rex Sorgatz.

You can probably tell by how many parenthesis the above paragraph contains just how richly diverse Adrian’s achievements are (did I mention I was a fan?).

    You never know!

We’ll be asking for suggestions as to speakers, and subject areas, including calling for folks who might be interested in presenting shortly. Keep an eye on the blog, and past attendees will also receive an email letting them know when this is happening — but stay tuned
