500^th Attendee free

We are fast com­ing up on a mile­stone that when we started this crazy web direc­tions thing a few years ago, if you’d told me we’d be any­where near, I would have doubted your san­ity. Last year we went just past 500 atten­dees, and we are again near­ing that pretty amaz­ing number.

I think it is a huge tes­ta­ment to the strength of the Australian web indus­try, that with a pop­u­la­tion a small frac­tion of that in Europe and the US, we get such an amaz­ing turnout. Each year we get an incred­i­ble turnout of folks who came in pre­vi­ous years (includ­ing quite a few who’ve come to every one of our con­fer­ences!), as well as a great many new atten­dees — some new to the indus­try, some old hands who’ve only just heard about the con­fer­ence, some mak­ing the deci­sion to come for the first time.

So, to make a lit­tle ges­ture for such a great turnout, the 500^th per­son to sign up for the con­fer­ence will come for free!

All you have to do is reg­is­ter, and if you are lucky num­ber 500, then we’ll let you know right away.

Thanks to all who have come in the past, and are com­ing this year. We are count­ing down the days until what we are sure will be our best event yet, and hope you are as excited about next week as we are.
