Introducing Soap Jr.

We’ll let you in on a little secret — well, it might come as little surprise, I’m actually wearing my fabulous Moltn: I Like Code t-shirt as I type this, but here at Web Directions we are geeks. We love code, coding, and all manner of technical stuff. So, news from our good friend Rob Manson, whose spoken at Web Directions in years gone by, and who is definitely on the geek tip, about his new open source project Soap Jr, for all you Ajaxian folks out there.

If you want to create clean, fast AJAX API’s then SOAPjr is what you’ve been looking for. Basically, it’s the love-child of SOAP and JR (JSON-RPC) … but what the hell does that mean and why should you care?

So many smart folks out their in the Australian web scene, doing excellent stuff like this. Great to see.

If you’ve got a project you think would be useful or interesting to Aussie web folks, drop us a line and we’ll let people know about it.
