Keynote for the web

If you’ve been to one of our conferences, you would have seen many presentations put together using Keynote, the presentation software for Mac OS X by Apple. Now a small team have put together what is effectively a Keynote clone, but done entirely on the web — all HTML, Javascript and CSS.

It’s not quite ready to replace Keynote just yet, but it is an amazing example of what webapps can do right now.

I’d want an offline version before using it for presentations though — you can never rely on a net connection, wireless or wired, no matter what the event or location (it’s not only attendees who can’t rely on having wifi!).

Definitely worth taking a look at.
