I used Fireworks to create mine but dropped them into Freehand (RIP) to export them to EPS. The EPS upload worked fine but beware of blends, etc as they can go a bit manky.

RE Intel Macs: I launched Firefox in rosetta and it works — albeit a bit slow. Works well on a windows box, doesn't work that well on a intel mac however without running the old shockwave plugin in rosetta mode. This is a bit (read massive ) hurdle. Means have to go back to a Windows box to do designs. sigh!

Really nice concept. If a mikon is marked as being remixable, this means anyone else can use it as the basis for a new mikon. This is in fact the case with the Ruby mikon you point out, so I don't see any reason not to grab that one, make your own version of it, tag it with wds07, and it will be in the system. Make sense?

Regarding existing Mikons.

Mikons has a “remix” system.
