Video Ristretto–Product Design for A.I. driven products: Nick Lothian

From being the preserve first of science fiction, and research labs, to the domain of computer scientists, AI now impacts, and provides tremendous opportunity for anyone involved in product designing development.

Investigating the challenges and opportunities at the intersection of design, technology and business presented by AI and Machine Learning is the aim of our AI conference.

Modern applications are increasingly using A.I. and machine learning to drive important parts of their functionality. While there has been significant progress on improving the raw algorithms powering these systems there has been little thought put into *how* they should be used within applications.

In this talk from AI 2018, Nick Lothian, founder and CEO of Tyto.AI – an artificial intelligence consultancy and product company, looked at examples from 4+ years experience in running A.I. driven products of the different concerns one needs to consider when integrating these tools into applications.
