The wait is over

It’s time to head on over to the all new Web Directions site and check out the line up for WD06.

This year we have the conference on September 28 and 29, with an additional two days of workshops on the 26th and 27th: the last week of September 2006 is going to be a very big week indeed in Sydney.

It’s been a long haul organising the speakers and content, and building the site, but we think we’ve gone the extra mile in bringing something pretty special to Australia this year. Let us know what you think.

Looks like a fantastic lineup. Congratulations!

  1. Holy cow you guys did it again. Congrats on another amazing line up of speakers. I don’t know for sure if I can make it this year, but I’ll be trying like hell. Hope to see you in September!

  2. Congrats guys! The anticipation was killing me, but it was worth the wait. Can’t wait to see you all again in September.

Jeremy Keith workshop. I am all over that one… he was one of the best presentations for SxSW! Wonder if the cowboy hat will make it to australia?

I should be very surprised indeed if the cowboy hat did not make it Sydney. If this happens it will be an oversight that needs to be rectified immediately!

Thanks guys for all your lovely comments, very appreciative.

  4. Ah hopefully I’ll have a new job by then so I can convince my boss to let me go (and pay for it) — I doubt my current boss will let me go seeing he paid for me to go to WE05 :-)

  5. I’m in a similarish boat to Nathanael.…. ;)

The line up is excellent. Looking forward to the conference!

  6. […] Web Directions 2006 has just been launched! The line up of speakers look fantastic, as well as the workshops which have been scheduled for 26th and 27th of September. […]

  7. Web Directions 06…

From a rumour, to a promise, to fulfilment. Maxine Sherrin and John Allsopp have pulled together a fantastic program of speakers for the inaugural Web Directions conference in Sydney, and look to improve on the previous Web Essentials conferences.
    Over…

  8. Great! I am signing up right now…one of the early birds :)
