Thanks so much to every­one who got involved in help­ing design the Mikon set for Web Directions South. It was great that so many peo­ple par­tic­i­pated, and intrigu­ing to see how we choose to ideen­tify our­selves. Check them all out.

The hard part of course was choos­ing just 35 to go on the offi­cial Mikon sheet for the conference.

Congratulations to all those who designed Mikons that made it through. Mark from Mikons would like to give you a Mikons t shirt, either with the whole set printed on it, or the Mikon of your choice. If one of your Mikons is here, and I haven’t been in touch with you already, please get in touch so I can arrange this with you.

   Hi max­ine, yes Sven is I, or is that me, or myself?
   Anyway, cool!
   My choice is a sin­gle Micon on a T.… and (with­out appear­ing self obsessed) I’d like my own Micon :) at Medium size.

   Im only going to a work­shop this year (Andy’s), while a cou­ple of my col­leagues are doing the whole con­fer­ence. See you there!

   Hi Maxine, I’m excited my mikon got picked; that’s awe­some! I’d love a t-​​shirt (Men’s XL, please) with my mikon on it. If my pals at Knowbility​.org like it, we might use the mikon for events here. Wish I could be there at WDS. Say hi to John. Cheers!

   Well done Andrew and Pat! That’s ded­i­ca­tion to the cause Pat — send­ing a Mikon all the way from Austin.

   Maybe Vancouver early next year might work for you — expect an announce­ment soon
