Barcamp Canberra wrap

As we all probably know, an important event occurred in Canberra, the nations Capital this weekend just gone. And there was the 20/20 Summit as well.

Of course I’m talking about Barcamp Canberra, held at the Australian National University lat Saturday.

A fantastic turnout, of 60 or more attendees, and 30 or so presentations, many of which are online, and which are well worth a look, covering things like Google Apps, Web Typography, Prototyping, UX nightmares and much more.

Well done Canberrans (though if they keep such great events up they might put us out of a job)

  2. Thanks for the wraps guys! Much appreciated. I don’t think you’ll be out of a job too quickly.

I reckon there were a couple of presentations worth trying to get for WDS, particularly Pascal’s piece on beautiful web typography. Really good work from a smart, young designer who knows his stuff!

And everyone enjoyed the pizza you sponsored for us!

  3. Thanks guys: thanks for the plugs, feedback and of course coming! I thoroughly enjoyed the day.

  4. Thanks for sponsoring — we enjoyed the pizzas :)
