@media and Web Directions

Maxine and I are really excited to let you know that from 2010, @media, one of the great web conferences in the world will be presented by Web Directions.

@media will stay right at home, in London, and feature the same mix of the world’s leading web designers, developers, and other web professionals. And we’ll have @media’s founder Patrick Griffiths’s support to ensure we do things right.

So, mark June 2010 down in your diary, and subscribe to our news feed, follow us on Twitter, or sign up to our email newsletter to stay in the loop and we’ll see you in London town, June of next year.

    Thanks all for the positive responses. We are really excited, and are greatly looking forward to it. Adam, snowboarding anytime in the UK, particularly the south, can be a challenge, and in summer, but we’ll work out something!

    See you all next June, if not before

  4. Wow! That’s huge.

    Now have to decide whether to postpone UK trip planned for Dec by six months, or try to do two trips. Winter, summer, hmmm.

    Lovely to see the WD empire expanding yet again.

    Put the kettle on, Andy!

  5. Congrats, that’s fantastic! ! I was looking for another excuse to go to London again. I’d better start saving my pennies. :)

  7. Great news John and Maxine. Couldn’t think of anyone better to continue the @media legacy Patrick has left behind as he pursues his non-web direction. And does this mean we’ll be seeing you a little more the UK?

  8. Thanks Richard,

    if you are unlucky, I’d say so!
