The Web Directions iphone meat tray

It’s too easy for the rest of the world to sit around and be cynical and sigh a big “whatever” at the release of the 3G iPhone 2. Dammit, we southern hemispherites need something to get excited about as the deep of Winter approaches, so, upgraded camera or not, the iPhone it will be!

In honour of this excitement, we’re going to give away a brand spanking new 3G iPhone to one lucky Web Directions South attendee who registers before 9am on July 11. So, get cracking and push that approval through at work, or just get it together and make sure to get your registration in because you’ve got to be in it to win it.

The nitty gritty

Like any meat tray, all you’ve gotta do is buy a ticket, all ready. And the more tickets you buy, the more chance you have to win.

  • Buy a conference ticket, get 1 ticket in the draw
  • Buy one or two workshop tickets, get one or two tickets in the draw
  • Do either of the above and write a blog post about us, and we’ll give you two extra tickets in the iPhone meat tray

Stretching out the meat tray analogy, it being a Friday night and all, we’ll do the draw and announce the winner on the evening of July 11.

So, what do I have to do to win an iPhone?

  1. get it together and make sure you (or your boss) get your registration in before 9am on July 11 – each event you register for will get you a ticket in the draw.
  2. if you can, get yourself an extra couple of tickets by writing a blog post about why you’re coming to Web Directions South (or really, anything you want to wax lyrical about). Email us a link to the post from our contact page.
    1. Oh, and yes, everyone who has signed up already is automatically in the draw – you don’t need to do a thing!
