Web Directions South 2008 Schedule Published
Let the decision making begin: Developing for iPhone or Strategies for Social Media Engagement, Creating Sexy Style Sheets or Choosing the Right Web App Framework. Because the official schedule for Web Directions South 2008 has now been set in stone and handed down.
I’ve laboured over this a bit this year. While the kinds of sessions we have largely fit into one of three “themes” — Design, Development and Management/Strategy — web disciplines, and web disciples, do tend to be hybrid, so we’ve never really seen these as “Tracks” in the rigid, traditional sense of that word. Our priority therefore is to get as diverse a range of sessions as possible on at any given time. And then to make sure the sessions we think will be the most popular are in the largest room. Sounds simple. Isn’t.
The important thing to remember of course is that we record all our sessions and make them available, generally with slides as well, at this site after the event. Reduces the opportunity cost no?
