Is it just me, or is there anyone else out there utterly gobsmacked by the fact that in 2008 one can go to the site for one of the country’s leading cultural events only to be blasted by blaring objectionable music that can’t even be turned off properly, at least on Safari 3?

Who is the person who thinks such things are a good idea? I’m going to assume they don’t come from the minds of developers.

How do we communicate to them the wretchedness of it all?

Or just hit the back button!

How to communicate the wretchedness of it all? Don’t buy any tickets.

Oh and in Safari 3.0.4 the little speaker icon turns the crap sound off. Oh what a lovely bit of HCI. Blurgh.
