We’ve grown! This year we need two sep­a­rate venues to accom­mo­date the work­shops and con­fer­ence. They’re very close to one another, and equally con­ve­nient to a range of hotels in the Darling Harbour area. But if you are attend­ing both work­shops on the 25^th and 26^th and then the con­fer­ence on the 27^th and 28^th, take note of each venue.

Conference and Expo Venue

Web Directions South and Web Expo South will be held in Darling Harbour at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, on Level 1 of the Convention Centre Parkside.

Workshops Venue

All the work­shops, on September 25^th and 26^th, take place at the Powerhouse Museum. The Powerhouse Museum is 10 min­utes walk from Central Station, located on the mono­rail, or a short walk from Darling Harbour. It is less than 5 min­utes walk from the con­fer­ence loca­tion, so hotels which are con­ve­nient to one loca­tion will be con­ve­nient to both.

Darling Harbour is close to the heart of Sydney. Any hotels in the CBD will be at most a 15 to 20 minute walk through the city. To be really close to the con­fer­ence venue though you will want to stay some­where in Darling Harbour itself.
